Service Policies

General Information

  • Wear comfortable clothing.

  • Please refrain from chewing gum or wearing perfume.

  • Since the practice is physical, it is best to practice on an empty belly.

    • Meals should be consumed at least 2 hours prior to class; snacks at least 1 hour.

  • We encourage students to bring their own yoga mat, water bottle and towel;
    however, both are available to rent.

    • A yoga mat and towel will be provided free of charge for your first visit​. Rental for mat is $2  (comes with towel). Towel rental alone is $1. 

  • Restrooms, showers, and a changing room is available. (See updated Covid-19 guidelines)

Studio Policies 

  • Every student is required to sign in at the front desk.

  • Waiver must be signed before attending class.

  • Classes are first come first serve. 

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class to ensure a spot in class as well as plenty of time to check-in. Students may be turned away if studio space has reached its capacity. A class credit will remain in the account if student is unable to attend/turned away from class. 

  • New students are required to sign a waiver prior to participating in their first class.  

    •  Please arrive a few minutes early to complete this, or you may download a PDF version to fill out prior to coming into the studio. 

  • Please call the studio if you are going to be late to a class.

    •  Students will not be able to enter 5 minutes after the class has started. 

  • Please wait until students have left the studio before entering for the next class.

  • Please keep conversation low when another class is in session.

  • A yoga towel is strongly suggested for both hot and non-heated classes. 

  • Please make sure to wipe down studio mats prior to putting away, a cleaner is provided.

  • No chewing gum during class.

  • No food or open containers are allowed in the main practice studio or workout areas.

  • Mobile devices are not allowed in the studio. 

  • No shoes allowed in studio,.

 

We have the right to refuse service to anyone who does not treat our staff, teachers and/or studio with kindness and respect.

IMPORTANT CLASS SIGN UP INFORMATION:

  • Guests are required to sign up, register and pay for classes online or over the phone in order to attend. Registration must take place no less than 15 minutes before the allocated starting time.

  • Refunds/Credit will not be given to late cancels or no shows.

  • All late cancels must be notified at least 30 min prior to class to avoid penalty (drop-in price charge of class).

  • No shows will not receive credit back and will be charged Drop in price. 

  • Health and safety have and always will be a priority at Bee Alive Yoga. We completely honor your choice if you do not wish to attend classes and are grateful for your support.

  • All sales are final. No refunds or extensions on purchases

Special Conditions and Injuries:

Anyone with series medical conditions or injuries should consult a doctor prior to participating in any yoga classes. At Bee Alive, we encourage you to listen to your body, taking the appropriate modifications. Please inform the instructor prior to class of any injuries or medical conditions you may have so we can make your practice as enjoyable as possible. 

 

Young Student Policy:

Any student under 18 years of age must have a parent/guardian’s signature on the waiver.

Our classes are designed for students 12 years of age and older. Students under 16 years of age may attend classes when a parent or guardian is participating in the same class. 

  • ID/School ID must be presented to purchase minor membership.

 

** Minors may not sit in the reception area while the parent or guardian takes a class.  The front desk staff are not authorized to supervise children.**
 

Privacy Policy:

Your privacy is very important to us. Any personal information you choose to give us will only be used to help us provide you with the highest quality services, products and support.

We will never share your personal or financial information with any other party. We do not share bank or credit card information with any third parties.

Payment:

Cash, credit and debit cards are accepted. We do not accept checks. 

All sales are final. No refunds or extensions on purchases

Membership Policies:

  • Unlimited monthly memberships have no expiration date and are auto renewing each month until cancellation.

  • All unlimited memberships are a 1 year no cancellation contract beginning the date of purchase. If student wants to cancel their membership before 1 year, a fee of $120 will be charged to the account. 

  • Clients with unlimited monthly memberships are allowed 2 holds per calendar year. The hold can last a minimum of 14 days and a maximum of 60 days. After the 60th day, membership will begin to auto renew, and with no refunds guaranteed. 

  • If you need to cancel or put your membership on hold, a written email is required and must be sent to beealiveyoga@gmail.com

  • Staff must be notified a minimum of two weeks prior to the desired cancellation date to guarantee a cancellation. A client is allowed 1 cancellations per calendar year after contract.

  • Military and 65 up must present ID to receive the Military and 65 up membership discount.

  • Minors must present  current year student ID to receive minor membership discount. 

 

Class-Pass Holder Policy:

  • 5 Class-Pass holders are given 3 months to use passes.  

  • 10 Class-Pass holders are given 6 months to use passes. 

  • All sales are final for Class-Passes and refunds are not permitted.

  • Sharing passes is not allowed.

Class and Workshop Cancellations:

The safety of our instructors and students is the most important thing to us. Decisions to cancel class are based on the inclement weather conditions, school closures and/or unsafe roads. 

Classes may also be cancelled in the event of a teacher emergency or if a substitute cannot be found. 

 

The Studio Manager will provide students with as much notice as possible that class will be cancelled. Decision to cancel class will be communicated ideally within 24 hours and no less than 2 hours prior, if possible.

 

  • Clients who signed up with drop-in pass, receive 1 drop in credit back to their account per class that is cancelled. 

  • Clients with a 5 or 10 Class-Pass will receive a class pass credit back into account if  class is cancelled.  

 

Classroom and Workshop Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • All sales are final. No refunds or extensions on purchases. 

  • If you are unable to attend a workshop, please contact us to cancel at least 24 hours prior to receive a refund or class credit(s). 

    • Absence to a workshop is non-refundable. 

  • Workshops could be cancelled by the studio if there is insufficient interest, or if a teacher has an emergency. 

    • If the workshop is cancelled, you will be notified by email as soon as possible and will receive a full refund or full credit toward your Bee Alive Yoga account whichever you choose.
